Timetrip 1989 is a solo synthwave project by Dmitry Belov from Bryansk. The name joins two simple things: love for the idea of time travel, and 1989 — his birth year.
It is a tribute to synthwave and retro-futurist aesthetics. No heavy conceptual scaffold is required: Dmitry writes this music because he loves the genre — synths, melody, night atmosphere and the future as the past once imagined it.
